No, since they're not using spells.

Snares are the best way to deal with touchers, in my experience as a toucher.

Not as effective as you might think since every good touch R/N carries Plague Touch around. I run a touch build in CA and TA and the only skills I've had problems with are Diversion and snares. Since touchers often spam their skills in quick succession shutting one of them down can drop their damage output by half (and if you're lucky enough to have diverted Vampiric Touch, their self-healing is almost nullified).

I've been trying a different touch build with mixed success, the R/E Shock Trooper. Its not half as good as a R/N touch build but its fun and surprises people a lot of the time.

Wild Blow is also devastating, most touchers rely on stances to control physical damage recieved, getting rid of them helps a lot. I haven't had much problem with this skill myself because I always carry Throw Dirt.

That actually sounds like a good idea. Energy denial usually criples any Ranger I've ever used. Dunno about this touch build, but I can see the benefit. Now I've gotta try that, if my connection will allow for it.....

There are several types of "touchy" rangers. Energy denial is great against "full touchy" rangers which means they rely on Escape, Vamp Touch, Touch of Agony, Vamp Gaze and maybe switch Escape with Life Transfer/Offering of Blood.

Energy Denial is not so good against Touchy Pet Build: Vamp Touch + Ferocious Strike.
